my objective while grounded are to focus on school work and track, and hopefully next thing you know I'll be ungrounded and roaming the streets again.
Since i can't party unless given the oppurtunity to sneak out, ive been reading and writing again. I read: in their shoes; extraordinary women describe their amazing careers by deborah reber. Simon Pulse publishing company mailed it to me because I emailed them after reading a few of their books and they thought i was soo ambitious for doing so.
After reading that, I finally figured out what I want to do. Magazine Journalism, and or Advertisement. and they both make bank and I have a passion for writing, so it'll all work out. And so, if I can't pursure my degree for such careers at Duke, I'll do it at Syrcause, Brown, Boston Univeristy, or the university of chicago. Whoever is willing to take me in for free.
Now back to the AP english homework. I just wanted to update you guys.

I've stumbled

across good people and bad people. people that inspire you and motivate you to do everything to your fullest potential and the people with no ambition who want to drag you down with them or influence you to make no use of your passion and talent. I believe from anothers' point of view i am portrayed as one of the people that inspire and motivate. But then again, thats' what i like to believe. If i fail to portray myself as that to you, tell me please cause theres nothing more that i hate then being one of those worthless pieces of shit with no ambition for life and can only talk of success but not build their path to it.

another good weekend

so ive spent 3 weeeknds in a row drunk off either tequila or wine coolers. finally got to spend time with my bestest friend ever and her new mac computer, lol. i want a mac so bad now, im disgusted by the PC that im using -__-
i had all day yesterday and today for myself to have time to think about wtf i wanna do with my life. and i basically got it. this whole track thing is gonna get me a full ride to Duke sine i finally caught there eye and im just gonna major in communications. "but brea why not ucla"-_____- ucla is lame and way to close to my mother. Besies north carolina= bomb black guys and a chance to spread my wings and live life on my own. "but brea, boys shouldnt be a factor about where you should go to colege" I know but thats not why i wanna go to Duke. I looked into their communications program and its legit along with their track, campus, and studen-athlete guarantees. the bombies are just a plus :D lol

SO yeah, the plan is for me to just sweep cif and state right quick and commit to duke right away. call me crazy, but i just know what i want.

week by week im starting to learn new things. about people. about myself. about my family. just life in general. at this point i know i am very determinded and ambitious, so i KNOW ill be successful, but that it wont be that easy. at this point i know which one of my friends are true to me, and even though its a handful, im okay with that. i know that im just a social butterfly, and a hysterical drunk hhahah. i know that i love my sisters more than anything in this world and that my mother and my brother have yet to pull themselves together and who knows what their gonna do when i leave for college in 2 years.
i also learned that i dont give a fuck about the criticism of people who arent on my level but have the nerve to think/talk down on me. HA i have a few scholarships on my hands, you really think i have time for you guys? thats comedy -____-
im learning from life now than i ever did before. some of these lessons suck, but im grateful for them.

heres my excuse.
seee after school i had to watch the tennis match because thats what i was doing my article on and it didn't end till around six. the the homie called me up about getting my hair did for homecomming this saturday and i said HEY WHY NOT :D
and i dont know about you guys but i cannot sit on a lap top and get a relaxer and a few tracks done. i got home at around 11 pm, lookin good if i might add, and decided to take a show bow and hit the sheets cause i need SOME kind of energy in my system, so i wake up at 3:30, internet explorer said hey how about we go sleep so brea can't download the essay topic from the schools website. i had to wake poor people up at 4:00 asking them for the topic. so i got it, typed my shit up, and here i am in need of capuccino, coffee, shit ANYTHING with some espresso.
but i look on the bright side. HAIR DID, ITS FRIDAY, HOMECOMMING TOMORROW NIGHT. YA DIG.

i know its kind of a business phone, but i'm busy as fuck and i use my email more than ever this year so i think im pretty much obligated to get one. the homie just got on and she let me fiddle with it today in class. it was like a piece of heaven in my hand.

long time, no talk

i've been busy being a scholar and an athlete. and i've pretty much been keping track of everybodys blog but mine.
but here i am.

yeah so basically i dont know if his is a late trend or new trend but i LOVE my tan mocassinsalot of the guys wear them at my school, so i hopped on some asap. the tan ones are special to me because everyone has the doodoo brown ones.
i am happy to say i am stepping up my fasion game, but of course you wouldnt know that because my sistr thought it was reasonable to throw my camera at a wall to release her anger. but im saving up for one at the moment and ill be getting it in no longer than a mont a hope.


everyone was asking me what was goody with my high waisted shorts but those were actually some gross old navy jeans my mom bought for me a while ago, and i cut them! then i accesroized it wih a tan leather belt.

junior year

this is what ive been doing for half of the free time i get. SLEEPIN. whether its at turt, at my house, or on the way back home from track practice. why didnt anyone warn my junior year was just a SWAMP of hard work. i mean shit >:[ dont even have enough energy to function anymore. strictly kick backs and spending time with the girlies and the brodies. labor day weekend no practice, just beach and sleepovers *cough cough*. haha yeah.
right now im munchin on some white castle cheesburgers and they are delicious as fuck. the homie turtle put me on :D
homecomming is rollin in and yess i have a date. he asked, kinda. well i asked sorta, and yeah. its a long story lol. but all i have to say is i have a date and im happy its him cuz he's chill as fuck and i could be myself around him <3

last week of summer
